Students from Metropol College visited A. Kadir Üçyıldız Residential Care Home as part of an event organized by Aksaray University’s Child Education Application and Research Center. Held to celebrate Eid and mark Older Persons’ Week, the gathering brought children and care home residents together.

During the visit, residents shared their memories of past Eid celebrations. Students offered their Eid greetings and presented performances they had prepared. Through conversations and performances, the event provided an opportunity to share festive traditions and cultural values across generations.

With affection, respect, and sharing at its heart, the visit encouraged communication and strengthened connections between children and older adults.
