Aksaray University’s Child Education Application and Research Center organized a meaningful event for children to mark October 29 Republic Day as part of its community engagement activities.

Held on October 26, 2026, in collaboration with the Gülen Yüzler (Smiling Faces) and Minik İzler (Little Footprints) Student Societies, the event invited children to experience the joy of Republic Day through art and creative drama activities.

The event aimed to help children understand the meaning and significance of Republic Day through developmentally appropriate activities, strengthen their sense of national unity and solidarity, and raise their awareness of the fundamental values of the Republic.

Through activities encouraging active participation, children learned by doing and experiencing while sharing the excitement of Republic Day in a creative and enjoyable setting.

Aksaray University’s Child Education Application and Research Center continues to organize activities that support children’s holistic development, promote the transmission of shared social values to future generations, and strengthen ties between the university and the community.
